Description: In the masterclass on June 21st in Guangzhou Grant Hyatt Hotel, we showcased 9 wines from different DO regions to help explore the diversity and quality of Spanish wines. Mr. Carlos Tórtola, Economic and Commercial Consul of Spain in Guangzhou, attended the event, together with 58 educators, media and distributors from Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

The masterclass gave a diverse taste of wines from Cava, Rueda, Rías Baixas, Priorat, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Jumilla and Jerez. With the introduction from the educator Xingwei, guests renewed their knowledge about Spanish regions and discovered wines they hadn’t tasted before.

Wine is one of the most important products in Spanish exports to China and I’m delighted to see there is a growing share in the Chinese market with the effort of Wines From Spain and outstanding educators such as Xingwei.”
