“ALL ABOUT TEMPRANILLO” EVENT

In order to celebrate the Tempranillo Day (the second Thursday of November), Wines from Spain will organize the special event “All about Tempranillo” in the tasting area of Spain national pavilion in Prowine Shanghai. In the afternoon of November 11th, wines made from Tempranillo from different regions of Spain will be presented and introductions will be made by a wine educator. The public will be able to freely taste the diversity of Tempranillo and to have a deeper knowledge of this world famous Spanish variety.

As the most planted red variety of Spain, Tempranillo wines are the presentation card of fine Spanish wines in the international market. Due to the different terroirs and microclimates in different regions, the Tempranillo wines are very diverse in Spain, with even different names and mutations in some regions. “All about Tempranillo” will be a very good opportunity to introduce to the Chinese market as many regions as possible, with all kinds of Tempranillo wines, and for the wine professionals to better understand the charm and the different possibilities of this grape.
