Description: On occasion of the 2018 PROWINE fair held in Shanghai, more than 20 selected guests including wine media, educators, sommeliers & KOL were invited to a wine pairing dinner at Hakkasan, one of the top restaurants in the city. During the dinner various Spanish wines including red & white still wines, sparkling and fortified wines, were served in pairing with the contemporary Chinese cuisine.

The following messages were well communicated:

1. The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) is launching a communication campaign in China with the aim of improving the general image of Spanish wines in the market, showcasing their great quality and diversity.
2. The campaign will target mainly the wine professionals and opinion leaders, with activities like seminars/master classes, pairing dinners, on-line presence (website and social networks), sponsorships, cooperation with media, trips to Spain and the Academy of Wines from Spain as a way to educate consumers about the quality and diversity of Spanish Wines through local experts certified as Official Educators.
