Description: The promotion activity of "Wines from Spain"— the wine master class was held in Guangzhou on May 17, 2019. The master-class attracted great attention and was completely full with 65 industry-related guests. At the beginning of the master class, Mr. Carlos Tórtola, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Consulate-General of Spain in Guangzhou, welcomed the arrival of all the attendees, and expressed the wish of Spain's Government to support and develop the Brand image of Wines from Spain through a long-term communications campaign.
At the event, senior wine lecturer Ms. Corinne Mui presented the characteristics of three different wine regions in Spain: Rías Baixas, Rioja and Jerez, and tasted 10 typical wines. With the rich and varied topography and soil structure, as well as the coexistence of Mediterranean, Atlantic and continental climates, Spain is a country of diverse wine production. Through this master class, attendees were able to experience the diversity and excellent quality of red and white still wines as well as fortified wines from Spain.
