White wines are perfect for summer! Wines from Spain organized “Spanish Whites” tastings in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen on July 22nd, with participation of influential professional media, sommeliers, educators and KOLs in each city, who tasted 14 representative Spanish white wines.
The tasting was divided into two parts: the first part focused on two Spanish white grape varieties Albariño and Verdejo. In the second part, the guests tasted other Spanish white varieties such as Viura, Garnacha Blanca, Airen, Albillo Mayor… and also tried Dorado wine with similar style to Sherry.
The participants expressed surprise and recognition of the rapid development of Spanish local white grapes in recent years and agreed that these distinctive white wines are extremely suitable for matching with diverse Chinese cuisines and are also excellent drinks for summer.
